Bob Shoemaker | bob@talking-scuba.com grew up in Rockford, Michigan and has been diving since 2002. He started working in a local dive shop that same year. As he gained more experience diving and running the shop he became a Dive Control Specialist a few years later. As a Dive Control Specialist he was able to  lead dive trips and help out with the instruction of scuba. In 2007 he became an instructor and then an Advanced Open Water Instructor  in 2008. In Fall of 2009 he partnered up with Johnny B Allen of Evolving Creativity  to become Talking Scuba’s host and UW videographer. He enjoys sharing his thoughts, experience, and humor with the ever -growing scuba diving community. In 2011, Bob Shoemaker crossed over to NASE Worldwide to become a specialty dive instructor.

Jim Norton | jim@talking-scuba.com grew up in Comstock Park, Michigan and has been diving since 2005. He became a Dive Control Specialist in 2008. Currently he enjoys leading dive trips on various shipwreck sites throughout the Great Lakes. Beyond scuba he is a professional pilot and instructor, as well as a former skydiving instructor. In Fall of 2009 he decided to work side-by-side  with Bob  and  share his thoughts, experience, and humor with the growing scuba diving community. In the spring of 2011, Jim crossed over to NASE Worldwide to become a  dive instructor. Jim is now readily available to teach scuba lessons. Johnny B Allen | johnny@talking-scuba.com grew up in Greenville, Michigan area and has been recreational scuba diving since September 2009. He has a bachelor degree in Digital Media  from Kendall College of Art & Design/Ferris State University.  Before developing and creating Talking Scuba  Johnny B worked for independent producers/production companies as a freelancer/contract employee, local television station WOOD TV8/WXSP/WOTV as a Web Sales Content Producer and Digital Designer, and Clear Channel Radio of West Michigan he was the Online Content Director for multiple radio station websites. He has been an adjunct instructor at Ferris State University in Big Rapids teaching 3D animation/computer graphics at Ferris State University in Big Rapids.  His professional design work can be found on his design blog – http://www.JohnnybAllen.com

Talking Scuba™ was created and founded in 2010 by digital media designer and visionary Johnny B Allen, because he couldn’t find a podcast or video show on the internet that was both educational and entertaining in the realm of recreational scuba diving.
